What NeuroNourishLab offers

Many nutrition approaches fail not because people lack information, but because behaviour change is biologically, cognitively, and emotionally demanding.

NeuroNourishLab provides education-focused nutrition support informed by behavioural science and neuroscience. The focus is on understanding how stress systems, habits, learning history, and decision-making processes influence eating behaviour.

Structured guidance, including education-based nutrition plans, may be used to support learning and implementation

Where appropriate, this work occurs alongside psychological care, with direct collaboration to ensure roles remain clear and complementary.

NeuroNourishLab does not provide psychological treatment or therapy. Nutrition support remains distinct, structured, and time-limited.

Feel “stuck” despite knowing what to do nutritionally

  • Experience overwhelm, avoidance, or inconsistency around food

  • Have a history of repeated starts and stops with nutrition plans

  • Want a thinking-focused, non-punitive approach

  • Are seeking understanding and skill-building, not rules

All clients complete an intake and suitability process prior to engagement.

This may be suitable if you

Require medical nutrition therapy

  • Are currently experiencing an active eating disorder

  • Are in acute psychological distress

  • Are seeking rapid or prescriptive dietary control

In these cases, referral to a dietitian, psychologist, or medical professional is more appropriate, and can be supported where relevant.

How the work is structured

1. Defined scope and suitability
All engagement begins with an intake and suitability process to ensure the work is appropriate, ethical, and aligned with the client’s needs.

2. Structured, time-bound support
Support is delivered through structured programs conducted online. Engagement is education-led and collaborative, with an emphasis on understanding personal patterns, constraints, and decision-making processes.

3. Applied learning and integration
Programs may include:

  • Individual consultations

  • Guided reflection and applied learning tasks

  • Behaviour-focused nutrition education

  • Integration with existing supports where appropriate

Outcomes are framed around capacity, understanding, and behavioural flexibility, not numerical targets.
